I am a counsellor and massage therapist working in Edinburgh.
I studied massage with the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine in 1997/98, which gave me a comprehensive base in anatomy, physiology and Swedish massage. Since then I have also studied deep tissue techniques, some eastern approaches and specific treatment methods. For further information on massage see here.
I studied firstly for a Certificate in Counselling Skills and then a Postgraduate Diploma in Person Centred Counselling with Persona Development and Training (in conjunction with Stirling University). I qualified in June 2007. I have worked as a counsellor in GP practices in a number of locations, for a mental health organisation and in private practice. For more on counselling see here.
